Full Root-level Access in VPS Servers
If you get a VPS servers from us, you'll have full root-level access in 3 cases - if the server comes with no hosting Control Panel at all, or if you select cPanel or DirectAdmin during the order process. In the first case, you'll be able to update any part of the system from a Secure Shell console, while in the second, you will still be able to use SSH to connect and to make modifications, still you'll also have a graphical interface accessible to control your online content and almost all of the system settings. The root access makes our virtual server plans an excellent choice in case you wish to run any software which you can not install in an ordinary shared website hosting account. With the last Control Panel option - Hepsia, you will be able to connect through SSH and to take care of the content on the server, but the root access privileges are more restricted.
Full Root-level Access in Dedicated Servers
Each and every dedicated server that we provide includes full root-level access, when the server is ordered with no Control Panel, or with cPanel or DirectAdmin. If you want to install and run heavy, resource-demanding apps and they have special requirements regarding the server software setting which cannot be fulfilled by a standard shared hosting package, our servers will be the right solution. Without Control Panel at hand, you will be able to access the server and update its settings as well as the content that you upload through a console, whereas with cPanel and DirectAdmin, you'll use a graphical interface to manage everything related to your web content, and also most server-side settings. As expected, if you get a dedicated server devoid of Control Panel, you may always install a third-party instrument manually, as long as it is compatible with the Operating System that you've chosen at registration. When you choose our Hepsia Control Panel on the order page, you'll have limited root access, however you'll still be able to perform quite a lot of things through a Secure Shell console.
